 Non-monetary donations
At Hosea Feed The Hungry, our food donors feed over 3,000 families per year. With the help of neighborhood clubs and sororities, The Universal Soul Circus, businesses, worship centers, and individuals, we receive enough food to feed the 30 to 40 families that come to our Care Center on Donnelly each and every day, those we go out into the community to serve and the organizations we provide food to on a quarterly basis. Here's how you can make a difference.

Individual Food Drives Hunger is all year long and so is Hosea Feed The Hungry. You can feed a family for less than 50.00 per month or
easily hold your own food drive. Although we would rather have a financial contribution because we can purchase food wholesale, if you want to hold a food drive we can make it easy for you. Just call Darrlyn Turner at

FACT: Since its inception Hosea Feed The Hungry has distributed over 3 billion tons of food!

* #10 Cans of Green Beans, Corn and Yams
* Peanut butter and Jelly, Canned fruits
* Canned Gravy, Mayo
* Stuffing Mix, Corn Meal and Rice
* Whole Grain, Low Sugar Cereals
* Turkeys and Hams

Food Industry
If you're in the food industry, strongly consider donating your overstocked or short-dated food. If you are a broker, manufacturer, distributor, grocer, retailer, produce market, food show, food hauling firm, or reclamation center, please contact our Resource Development Manager Miriam Ledesma at mledesma@hoseafeedthehungry.com
Individual Donations
The process is simple. You can come by Hosea Feed The Hungry any day, M-F, during our business hours 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Tell the receptionist you are here to make a "walk-in" donation and a staff member will be assigned to assist you to unload your vehicle and prepare a donation receipt for your records.

Please note that we can only accept unopened, unexpired items. We also cannot accept "homemade" canned jellies, jams or vegetables.
Give services
Hosea Feed The Hungry donates food, toiletries, new clothing, baby diapers, and household supplies to the thousands of families we serve every day. We need your donations especially during the summer months when children are out of school who depend on the free lunch to eat each week. Our volunteers are the backbone of our organization from start to finish. We gladly accept donations of goods and services, and other gifts, ideas, and resources that help us fight hunger. If you have time, talent, or treasure, you can contribute.
Long Term Opportunities
Hosea Feed The Hungry is looking for Board Members and “Key Volunteers” who help with the logistics and the organization of our Holiday Festivals of Service.
